ACI EUROPE is the European trade body for airports and as such, is also the European region of Airports Council International, the only global federation of airport operators. We are the voice of over 500 airports in 48 countries and territories. Our members facilitate over 90% of commercial air traffic in Europe, contributing to air transport’s societal benefit estimated to support 13.5 million jobs and generating €886 billion in European economic activity (4.4% of GDP). In response to the Climate Emergency, in June 2019 Europe’s airports committed to achieving Net Zero carbon emissions for operations under their control by 2050, without offsetting.
In order to unlock new business opportunities for our members and foster access to the latest know-how, we have also gathered a vibrant community of 200+ World Business Partners, the best-in-class service and product providers in aviation.
ACI EUROPE is based in Brussels, Belgium and employs a full time staff of 21 people, under the leadership of Director General Olivier Jankovec.

MEMBERSHIP OF ACI EUROPE
Our membership is comprised of airport operators of all sizes, along with national airport associations, educational establishments and world business partners. Working together in an active association to ensure effective communication and negotiation with legislative, commercial, technical, environmental, passenger and other interests. The members of ACI EUROPE are competitors in the airport market place and support free and fair competition as a trade policy and a legal concept.
